Wood Door Maker

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, measure, and cut wood to create custom or standard doors.
• Assemble wooden components using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Sand, polish, and finish doors to ensure smooth surfaces and desired aesthetics.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to design specifications.
• Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, planers, and sanders safely and effectively.
• Select the right type of wood and other materials based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with clients or team members to understand design preferences and specifications.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a woodworker or carpenter, preferably in door manufacturing.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Strong understanding of wood types, grains, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or design specifications.
