Project Manager – Payments

Responsibilities:Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the overall project plan, timeline, and budget for the H2H, SWIFT MT to MX, NPSS integration initiative.
• Secure stakeholder buy-in and commitment from across the organization, including IT, operations, compliance, and business departments.
• Break down the project into manageable phases and workstreams, assigning tasks and resources effectively.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact project progress.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring they deliver services and solutions according to project requirements and timelines.
• Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of the integrated solution.
• Monitor project performance metrics and adjust plans as needed to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of the new solution by users.
• Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders regularly and transparently.
• Document lessons learned throughout the project to inform future initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of H2H communication protocols, SWIFT MT messaging, MX standards, and NPSS requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with financial modeling and budgeting is a plus.
• PMP certification is a plus.
